The summer school on “Integrative biology in metabolic and cardiovascular diseases” will take place in Château de Maffliers (30 km from Paris and from Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport) from March, 15th to 19th.

It will address a broad range of interrelated topics at the frontiers of basic and clinical research on cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, including diabetes, kidney and liver disorders, from basic science and integrative biology to systems biology.

The program includes keynote lectures and special lessons from world-leading scientists in cardiology, metabolism, nutrition, and systems biology with accompanying workshops (project design, publication analyses, and techniques) and poster sessions.

A visit of Château de Chantilly is scheduled as social event during the second day.

The target audience consists of 60 young French and German scientists (Master’s degree and PhD students, Post-docs and Residents).

Lively interactions and networking opportunities will make this summer school an exceptional international experience for young scientists.
